Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform distribution-related clerical duties
  • Properly ensure accuracy of the information in the computer system
  • Responsible for report and file maintenance
  • Enter data for payroll and overtime reports
  • File all pertinent transportation documents
  • Update and maintain filing system and computer databases
  • Code invoices and have them approved by his/her supervisor
  • Enter trip card manifest data in the receiving system
  • Prepare memos and other communications
  • Ensure internal client satisfaction through prompt and efficient service
  • Administrative tasks related to the proper functioning of the department

Required Skills:

  • Ability to prioritize and organize a constant work flow, and maintain accurate records
  • Proficient with PC standard tools and knowledgeable in a Windows environment with an emphasis on Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal, written and telephone
communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Initiative, capable and confident to work independently
  • Able to maintain composure in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
  • Required Experience/Education:

    • High School diploma
    • Data entry experience
    • Experience with inventory verification and WMS inventory systems an asset
