Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing a global view of Thinking Capital's major ongoing initiatives. The Program Manager will be responsible for aligning priorities and resources across functional areas, including Product, Technology, Risk, Finance, Data, Sales and Marketing. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing timelines, balancing competing priorities, and organizing teams to hit targets and release key deliverables.

The Program Manager will need to:
  • Oversee a large initial program spanning 2020 that involves (1) a technology platform migration (2) a rethinking and streamlining of internal processes (3) the introduction of new financing products
  • Maintain a high-level global view of all ongoing initiatives, while also drilling down into details where required
  • Support schedule management, scope, project and task definition
  • Track projects dependencies and perform gap analysis
  • Assist in the delivery of functional and technical requirements, systems integrations and operational playbooks
  • Assist in facilitating workshops, stakeholder meetings, steering team updatesCategorize and track issues & KPIs, ensuring proper resolutions from project teams
  • Support change management and human impact issues, where required
  • Facilitate ongoing communications of project status, issues, and resource requirements to Thinking Capital's executive team

  • Experience with Agile delivery
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as a program coordinator or project/program manager is ideal
  • Experience in Finance and/or FinTech is an asset
  • Intellectual curiosity: developing an understanding of the Thinking Capital business, and our key business drivers
  • Developing an understanding of the Company's key priorities, roadmap and backlog
  • Strong communication
  • Ability to articulate priorities and deliverables to project teams, in line with an overarching vision
  • Ability to articulate progress, key wins, gates and roadblocks to Executives
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, and enjoy crafting plans & roadmaps
  • Enthusiasm for working with different stakeholders to ensure collaboration and alignment around strategy & priorities
