Seadoo Tour Guide

Join our team as a Customer Service Rep or Tour Guide. We are seeking two applicants to join us at The Charlottetown Marina from June 21 to early September 2020. Being a customer service representative of our company you will interact with our customers in a professional manner, to process their orders, schedule bookings, provide safety orientations, manage safety gear, maintain our watercraft and answer questions about our products.

You must enjoy working in a fast paced marine environment where the safety of our clients is your top priority. PEI Seadoo Rentals, Tours and Flyboarding is a small company that thrives in a team atmosphere, having fun and working hard every day to improve our client services. The right applicant(s) will be confident speaking to small groups of people while delivering safety orientations about equipment operation, emergency procedures and local hazards. You will need to demonstrate confident computer skills for booking clients, accepting payments and the file management and social media posting of client images and video. Your responsibilities include watercraft inspections, maintenance, flushing and fueling our boats a couple of times per day by lifting 40 lb jerrycans. During flyboarding operations you will assist our flyboard instructor with the pilot’s safety equipment, jet ski setup and maintenance.

You will sell our three products Seadoo rentals, two-hour guide Seadoo tours and flyboard flights which all operate in The Hillsborough River and The Northumberland Strait. For the right applicant, we are searching for a Seadoo tour guide to take groups of up to five Seadoos on two hour adventures that cover over 50km’s of water and local scenery. You will shadow our current tour guide and owner Mike Roberts until you are qualified to lead tour groups on your own. A Tour Guide is a customer service rep who shares all shop duties as well as support flyboarding and tours by maintaining equipment and client requests. If you have boating experience, are knowledgeable of the Charlottetown Harbour and The Hillsborough River, are a confident swimmer capable of saving a distressed person in the water, have a vehicle drivers license, have a pleasure craft license, first aid and CPR then we look forward to hearing from you for our tour guide job. Assets: Boating experience, customer service experience, mechanically inclined, water sports experience, Wordpress knowledge, editing images or video, multilingual, lifeguard, can drive a pickup truck, can backup a trailer or you are a scuba diver. Start date is approximately June 22 - Sept 13, 2020. The wage is $14 per hour and 40 hours per week.
