Workday Canadian Payroll Consultant for Application Management Services

  • You’ll be joining the top Workday partner in the Medium Enterprise space in terms of market share, and will partner with Mercer’s HR Transformation team to deliver Workday solutions to Large Enterprise Fortune 500 clients

We will count on you to:

  • Coordinate, troubleshoot, and manage customer payroll processing issues to completion
  • Partner with customers to assess the scope of the request and determine estimated timeframe needed to complete
  • Ensure customer business requirements are clearly defined, documented, communicated, implemented, and tested for all assigned projects and/or tickets for resolution
  • Consult with customers on a variety of data integrity issues
  • Interface with customers to understand the customers’ overall objectives and make recommendations based on their needs and standard best practices

What you need to have:

  • Workday HCM Certification, additional certifications in Canadian Payroll, Absence, or Time Tracking preferred

  • 2+ years of Workday consulting or 4+ years of processing Workday Payroll for Canada

  • Experience in the processing and filing of ROEs, T4s, RL-1s, and Sales Tax

  • Knowledge of provincial statutory requirements for vacation and holiday pay

What makes you stand out:

  • Current certification in Workday Canadian Payroll highly preferred
  • Workday Custom Reporting experience preferred
  • Prior experience in Application Management Services is a plus
  • Consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a software consulting company or implementer
  • You are a self-motivated individual who will take the initiative to ensure the team’s deliverables are delivered in an effective and time-efficient manner, guide clients on best practices, and embrace the team and collaborative atmosphere of Mercer Digital
