Job Description:

Genesys leads the industry in Cloud Customer Experience Software and we’re growing our Talent Team as we focus on hiring top talent to further our goals of market share growth and product feature delivery. You will own full life cycle recruiting activities which include sourcing talent and providing a best in class candidate experience throughout the interview process. You will partner with other members of the HR team including Business Partners and other Talent Acquisition Partners. As you develop and nurture relationships with hiring managers you will be strategic with pipelining and supporting our growth into the future and become a trusted adviser to business leaders.

The position will require using a variety of leading-edge recruiting resources to identify, recruit, evaluate, recommend and secure qualified candidates for open positions to ensure the achievement of company growth plans. Other responsibilities involve documenting and tracking all candidate activities in the applicant tracking system. This position will partner with team members supporting our North America hiring initiatives but be on the ground physically in our Markham office to support local and global hiring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follows established service levels and process to maintain exceptional client service, meet the needs of Hiring Managers, and create a best in class candidate experience for all future hires.

  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of cost-effective recruiting/sourcing skills and knowledge using latest recruiting methods/technologies and improving organization attractiveness by keeping abreast of industry trends, compensation packages and practices.
  • Manages the interview process with candidates and hiring managers in accordance with Company guidelines in addition to negotiating salaries and presenting job offers to candidates.
  • Oversee University hiring and ensure the pipeline of talent is ready and qualified for future opportunities for intern and Associate roles.
  • Partner with hiring teams and understand hiring profiles.
  • Manages Evergreen Requisitions and develops pipeline for future openings.
  • Responsible for identifying candidates and qualifying those candidates via phone screens and in-person interviews.
  • Effectively identify, utilizing and managing the resources
necessary to accomplish recruiting goals and objectives including gathering and preparing documentation with regards to all candidate interactions and maintaining applicant tracking database for reporting purposes.
  • Maintains business relationships with hiring managers through continuous written and oral communication to inform managers about candidates in the pipeline and identify hiring needs that are forecasted.

  • Minimum Requirements (technical and soft-skills):
    • A passion for technology.
    • Expert knowledge of sourcing, networking, social media and technology to attract top talent.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in work experience
    • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in direct search experience sourcing and recruiting passive candidates, or candidates with specific niche technologies required.
    • Must have experience recruiting for software development roles.
    • Proven experience educating, supporting and influencing hiring managers regarding best practices in the recruiting process, interviewing and the selection. Results are to enhance the candidate experience, hire the most qualified candidate and reduce time to fill rate.
    • Proven ability in exercising judgment through use of market trends and workforce supply demand information in their recruiting strategy to locate and source high quality candidates. Must also use this knowledge to better qualify candidates to hiring teams.
    • Passion to drive diverse hires in the business and get results.
    • Must have strong experience in providing consistent communication and messages to candidates and hiring managers regarding our process, company updates, products, and culture.
    • Ability to work independently, manage confidential data and be resourceful.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
