Job Description:

This salaried part-time position (22.5 hours per week – 8:30–4:30 Wed, Thurs, & Fri) combines receptionist responsibilities with general offices administration responsibilities for Mennonite Central Committee Ontario (MCCO) and is a shared position with another salaried-part-time position (22.5 hours per week – 8:30-4:30 Mon, Tues & Wed) with both staff responsible for all duties outlined in this job description. It will be important that a plan for good communication to ensure all duties are carried out in a timely and effective manner is implemented and followed by both staff. The MCCO receptionist provides initial contact with the public, whether by phone or in person, and it is important that they respond with courtesy and efficiency. This position will also provide general office support for MCCO staff. As a strong team player, this person interacts with churches, individual donors and other departments of MCCO.

The Receptionist/Office Assistant will occasionally be required to work extra hours to cover vacation and during periods of high volume.
