Customer Service Representative / Sales Associate

Job Description:

We are looking for an individual with excellent customer service and communication skills to join our growing team. The candidate must be a people-person with prior customer service experience. At illFixit Wireless we strive to provide an exceptional electronics repair service to each and every customer. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively greet customers, properly communicate the necessary steps in the repair process, and accurately input details and technical data into our CRM software. They must also be able to work in a team setting and effectively communicate with the technicians and customers.

The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the mobile industry or have excellent knowledge of different mobile devices and their specifications. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about the mobile industry and are looking to establish a long term career with our growing company.

Responsibilities

1. Customer service and relations

  • - Greet customers as they enter the store.
  • - Answer phone calls
  • - Communication and comprehension of the customers concerns and the issues they are experiencing.
  • - Providing possible solutions to a problem immediately
  • - Inventory management
  • - Keeping proper records of transactions and data entry with a POS software
  • - Perform other related duties as required during working hours.
  • - Keep the work areas and the shop clean and organised
  • - Provide status updates to customers for special order items.

Knowledge

  • - Computers, cell phone, and tablet hardware and software systems and applications
  • - Cell phone networks, computer networks.
  • - Cell phone troubleshooting
  • - Hardware components knowledge and testing
  • - Knowledge of electronic multi-layer boards
  • - POS and inventory system experience
  • - Application development and structure

Education

Sales experience in the mobile or electronics industry is a huge asset. Electronic technologist diploma or experience in electronics repair. Willing to provide training for the right candidate looking to build a career in the mobile repair industry.
