Job description

Ensure customer satisfaction and the quality of the Swiss Chalet / Harvey's customer experience by implementing measures designed to increase employee accountability

Promote and share the establishment’s strategic orientations, positioning, and values with employees

Help select and train the members of the team

Manage Associates during shifts. Ensure compliance with best practices and each Associates Roles/Responsibilities.

Maintain impeccable ethical standards

Participate, in collaboration with the Manager (or the franchisee), in the planning of the budget and financial situation for the establishment

Establish communication mechanisms for all personnel and host certain meetings, if needed, to ensure that relevant information is shared and understood

Represent the establishment and network to the public and to various business

associations, on occasion

Oversee the quality, service, and cleanliness of the establishment

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management and ordering; Work with Manager
  • Manage morning Cash & deposits
  • Weekly employee scheduling (work with the Manager, to start). Maturity and patience is an asset.
  • Recruiting, training, retaining talent
  • Build and maintain a positive team atmosphere
  • Autonomously manage daily operations
  • Be self-motivated
  • Ability to problem solve challenges & issues
  • Willing and able to work weekends
  • Manage the performance appreciation program
  • Prior Full and/or Quick Service Food Management experience is essential
