The Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment (ITI) works through wide-ranging partnerships and initiatives to deliver quality programs and services that promote and support economic development, diversification and prosperity in the interest of Northwest Territories residents – their businesses and communities.

Job Information

As the Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for the delivery of the Department's business development programs focusing on applications and proposals that are large, complex, and of a highly sensitive nature. Program delivery responsibilities will include investigation, analysis, proposal development, evaluation, and where appropriate, aftercare and monitoring of client progress. You will

also be responsible for determining the appropriate type of financial assistance required and meeting the need of businesses applying for financial assistance.

In order to be successful in this role, we require the successful completion of a Degree/Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration augmented by a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience (with degree), or four (4) years of relevant experience (with diploma).
