Warehouse Assistant

Islandwide Giftware Ltd. is a local wholesale distribution company designing and developing product for sale to retailers across the country. To support our busy Christmas season, we are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to start immediately.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Assistant will:

· Pick and pack customer orders in an accurate and timely manner;

· Conduct their work safely and ensure all policies and procedures are followed;

· Check incoming freight/deliveries for packing slip inaccuracies and damage;

· Assist with inventory counts and spot checks as required to ensure that inventory levels are reported accurately at all

· Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of previous warehouse experience and forklift certification, as well as the following key attributes:

· Energetic and enthusiastic work ethic;

· Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently to manage multiple priorities;

· Excellent attention to detail.

The normal schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Some evenings and/or weekends may be required as needed.
