School of Rock is looking for an Assistant Manager to join their team! Are you a highly motivated and keen learner? Are you passionate about enriching lives with performance-based programs and educational approaches that focus on hands-on skills, productivity, and team work? This may be the opportunity for you! The AM will be the administrative focal point for the School of Rock and will bring their mission to life working with every part of the school’s community to put on epic shows through which their students learn music and life skills.


Duties and Responsibilities


The primary duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Manager will be:


  • Assisting the General Manager and Directors to run the School and perform a wide range of duties as required
  • Creating a safe and cool environment for students to achieve their musical and creative potential
  • Organizing and managing events, special projects, shows, and tour productions
  • Greeting and looking after students, providing a top-quality customer service experience
  • Performing administrative duties such as billing, reporting, answering phones, responding to inquiries, and performing complex booking and scheduling for the music school
  • Assisting with the marketing, sales and promotions; Pitching music program to prospective students and parents
  • Overseeing staff and school facility to provide a safe, cool, and appropriate experience for all students
  • Keeping the school tidy, clean, and safe under pandemic measures
  • Assisting to track budgets, and manage labor
costs

Qualifications


The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:


  • 3+ years experience in marketing, sales, and/or customer service environment
  • Excellent customer service and relationship skills
  • Cheerful, welcoming, outgoing demeanor and a positive attitude
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills (verbal and writing)
  • Proven problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Computer and marketing skills are essential: (i) proficient on Microsoft Suite and social media (ii) having experiences or knowledge of Adobe programs (Illustrator, Adobe, Movie Maker), marketing animation and movie making skills are preferred
  • Quick to learn any new apps or technologies
  • Have experience or interest in work with children from 3-17 of ages and in a small dynamic team
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and leadership skills
