Physio Vie Active is an up-and-coming physiotherapy clinic in St-Antoine. Since our beginning almost 4 years ago, we have grown from a one member team, to a team of 4; and from having 15-20 clients per week to now having 80+ come trough our doors.

Demand for this role is always high, and we invite you to apply if you feel confident and able to achieve the tasks and responsibilities listed below.

Tasks:

  • Communicate the value of our services (in person and on the phone or email) and be able to explain how what we do, is worth the price we are asking
  • Provide an exceptional waiting room environment for our patients that they’ll look forward to coming back to
  • Ensure that people who call requesting appointments are placed on schedule and understand the true time and cost commitment involved in physical therapy
  • Ensure people show up excited for their first appointment after scheduling
  • Communicate with patients before, during and after appointments to ensure satisfaction is being achieved
  • Call and/or email potential clients to answer any questions and address any fears they may have about physiotherapy and coming in for treatments
  • Bill client’s insurance directly when applicable, and accept co-payment from client
  • Communicate with insurance companies and deal with case managers for certain clients
  • Organize and plan all schedules – maximizing efficiency and revenue for the clinic
  • Provide administrative support to the clinic: forms/documentation for new clients, make photocopies, fax documents, keep a filing system
  • Develop and regularly update the procedures library so that every aspect of the role is documented and can be achieved by anyone else in the business
  • Some accounting tasks when the time permits
  • Physiotherapy assistant duties (bring clients in the rooms, clean the rooms after each clients, some miscellaneous tasks like taking electrodes off clients, cleaning electrodes, prepare heat for clients, etc…)

Skills and competencies:

  • Be able to hold meaningful conversations with prospective patients on the phone for longer than 20 minutes (empathy)
  • Be able to answer all questions asked on the phone in such a way that increases the likelihood that the person asking will want to become a customer (insightful and knowledgeable)
  • Recall names and faces of patients and in doing so making all our patients feel welcomed and remembered
  • Provide a warm and welcoming greeting to patients when they arrive in the clinic (experience)
  • Organization and planning: plans and organizes, schedules in an efficient, productive manner, focuses on key priorities
  • Follows through on commitments: lives up to verbal and written agreements
  • Demonstrates an ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information
  • Attention to detail: does not let important details slip through the cracks
  • Persistence: demonstrates tenacity and willingness to go the distance to get something done
  • Proactivity: acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company
  • Be able to maintain a very high level of confidentiality
  • Word processing and spreadsheet skills (we work with iMac and MacBook computers, but experience with them is not required)
  • Must be bilingual (French and English) - written and spoken
  • Must be willing to do evening hours twice per week
