The Workplace Consultant develops work settings for Commercial entities, Healthcare, and Education.

This job entails working with clients or through the A&D Community. It usually involves visiting job sites to better understand the physical surroundings. it also entails having a curious mind. Asking questions around what the entity does, the type of work done, special circumstances under which they work, space implications and an understanding of the corporate culture all impact how well we solve for the client.

After gaining insights and a clear understanding of the design intent the Workplace Consultant will generate detailed plan views and 3D renderings of the work setting. This entails using design software that produces a Bill of Materials to the order ready stage. Once the work setting has been signed off by the client the Workplace Consultant will use the detailed BOM to develop a price for customer's acceptance.

Upon pricing approval by the customer the Workplace Consultant will order and project manage the job. This requires communication with internal accounting and operations as well as external vendors and project managers. It is an extremely satisfying job as the Workplace Consultant sees the job from beginning to end.

The candidate preferably will have a University degree. A well developed understanding of Microsoft Office is a must. Good communication skills and a good command of the English language both verbal and written is mandatory.
