Full-time Position (3 Openings)


We are seeking three people-oriented, agile Project Managers to complement a growing team of project leaders. The Project Manager will be dedicated to R&D projects and provide leadership to multi-disciplinary teams working to advance the mission of the Company. This position demonstrates exceptional communication skills, emotional intelligence and project management skills. This position receives coaching and guidance from the Executive Director, and works closely with the functional team leaders in R&D. The successful candidate will need to be very comfortable and adept at working in multi-disciplinary environments, as this is a key characteristic of Terramera's projects.


To define and execute strategic projects, while leading cross-functional project teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions within timeline and budget.


  • Initiate projects according to the Company's processes, including generating project charters, gathering requirements and developing projects plans, budgets and schedules
  • Track project progress according to project plans, methods, procedures and metrics
  • Assemble resources and key decision makers from across the organization to deliver defined scope of work and support
  • Provides leadership and direction to assigned project teams
  • Participates in the development and management of resource plans and budget
  • Participates in the ongoing development and improvement of best practices and methodologies for project management at Terramera
  • Maintain appropriate professional designation and up to date knowledge on related technology and tools
  • Performs other related duties and tasks as required

  • Post-secondary degree in Science, Engineering, or relevant discipline
  • PMP or PRINCE II certification, or working towards certification
  • 2 to 5 years of project management experience with a proven track record of building and leading project teams
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience managing the complete lifecycle of projects
  • Experience managing projects in a scientific
and/or engineering oriented environment QUALITIES WE'RE LOOKING FOR
