As our Energy Products and Services Analyst, you’ll be the linchpin to enabling the visualization and tracking results using various data analysis and visualization tools. You’ll also drive innovation in our reporting and performance tracking, to ensure we are leveraging this information to its fullest potential. You’ll also take pride in producing consistent, reliable and trustworthy data analysis between the gas and electric utilities, and across multiple data storage platforms. What it takes:

  • Excellent objective-setting skills and ability to self-motivate and remain persistent
  • A solid understanding of and experience with EXCEL, DAX language, M Language, PowerView, and PowerBI.
  • Experience using statistical software (SAS, SQL Server or MS Access).
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills with an ability to genuinely connect with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information and make sound judgments.
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically and strategically in business terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain
effective relationships
  • A basic familiarity of SQL and Tableau would be an asset. In this role, you will:
  • Envision, plan, maintain, and/or improve various Business Intelligence reports and analysis based on key business and customer metrics.
  • Organize and work with various stakeholders as required to gather feedback and obtain additional support to accomplish objectives.
  • Communicate with relevant managers via business cases, formal presentations, and informal discussions to obtain the required approvals and budgets to proceed with projects. Manage all data queries, reports, and visualizations in SQL, Excel and PowerView/PowerBI.
  • Utilize the results of various analyses to prepare reports and presentations that identify relevant implications for strategic planning purposes
  • Deliver presentations that include a review and assessment of relevant results and facilitate recommendations.
  • Pursue innovation and excellence in data analysis and reporting seeking out the best possible tools and techniques to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Support ad hoc data requests from the Energy Solutions group, PMO, and other internal stakeholders.
