About The Opportunity:
In this position, you will help keep Prince George parks and sports fields green and well maintained by performing skilled turf grass and irrigation work. You will install and maintain turf grass and irrigation systems and complete work related to turf construction and maintenance including: new landscape;
About Your Background:
Along with a commitment to safety, you have completed Grade 12 and Certified Irrigation Technician Level 1 with the Irrigation Association of BC and ideally, a course related to the trade. You bring at least a year of directly related experience to this skilled role. Level 1 First Aid is preferred or must be obtained within six months. A class 5 driver's license is required (or out of province equivalent). The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a clear Police Information Check for offences related to the position.
