Job Description:

We are currently looking for a full-time First Cook. A la carte as well as banquet/buffet background for 2-3 years is preferred. This is a fast paced environment that requires the ability to multitask, be an efficient worker and work unsupervised. There is potential for advancement within the company as we will be opening a new restaurant at Schooner Cove Marina this summer.

Our ideal candidate must possess a positive attitude and have a passion for food.

Job duties include:

  • Working the line, ensuring consistent and efficiently timed orders
  • Working for up to 8 hours on your feet
  • Prepare, season and cook food as directed
  • Ensure proper par levels and mise en place
  • Receiving orders
  • Ensure proper rotation
  • Creating daily features such as soups
  • Work clean and stay on task
