Business Development Supervisor


Dynaline was established in 1988 to serve distributors that supply to Automotive Aftermarket, Hardware retail and Industrial end users.

To grow business within established accounts along with seeking new opportunities for growth.

Our products are consumable durable goods in ten product categories. We provide point of sale merchandising for everything we sell. Our goal is to establish a network of supporters across Canada.

We help distributors keep business in their communities.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Work with Business Development Manager to set goals and strategies to support our team
  • Lead and coach the Customer Service/Inside Sales Representatives and Business Analysts
  • Participate in one to one meetings and performance reviews with the Business Development Manager
  • Develop scripts for targeted opportunities agreed upon with the Business Development Manager as part of the overall annual sales strategy
  • Create call schedule for your book of business
  • Provide follow up support to Business Development Manager on open quotations and opportunities as required
  • Effectively utilize internal CRM and provide reporting to Business Development Manager on Sales Team KPI’s
  • Create, implement and monitor KPI’s for Customer Service/Inside Sales Team
  • Provide Monthly Executive Summary to Management Team
  • Capture competitive intelligence, customer feedback, new product opportunities and any other areas for improvement in CRM
  • Provides product knowledge, pricing information and upselling opportunities to the team
  • Project Lead for all Tradeshow Activities including the possibility of attending
  • Resolve customer opportunities with 3 days and document in
  • Oversee Returns Lead to ensure Return Requests are closed off in a timely manner
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

    • Order turnaround time below 2 days from the date the order is processed
    • Internal Error Costs are kept below 0.45% of monthly sales
    • Committed/Fillable orders are kept below 5% of previous months sales
    • Customer Service/Inside Sales Team turnover is kept below industry standards
    • Scheduled coaching targets are achieved as required
    • Work Orders are completed within 2 days from order creation
    • Trade Show Project Deadlines are met
    • Reporting Schedule is met
    • Return Requests are closed within 30 days of document date
    • Monthly Outbound call targets are met


    • Base salary of $60,000 paid annually plus incentive plan based on achieving KPI’s (up to 20% of base salary)

    • Post Secondary in Business Administration or Customer Service an asset
    • Professional written and verbal skills for emails and proposals
    • Intermediate to Expert level Excel skills (formulas, charting etc.)
    • Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) Software skills an asset, specifically SAP B1
    • CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Software skills an asset
    • Valid Driver’s license
    • English language skills required, French language skills an asset
    • Strong numeracy skills and attention to required
    • Experience with leading a team is an asset
    • A desire to learn and grow
