Accounting Assistant- part time contract role

This part-time, contract position will report to the Team Lead, Accounts Payable and will work in a support role with Accounts Payable staff as well as other Finance departments in delivering effective, timely and efficient services to internal and external clients, in accordance to Accounting Department’s policies and procedures


  • Assisting all Finance areas with daily outgoing mail (Canada Post, Xpress Post, Couriers)
  • Filing & scanning, for multiple companies and departments
  • Distribution of incoming mail to Finance Department
  • Ordering & receiving office supplies
  • Data and transaction verification for large vendor accounts
  • Data entry
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Other financial duties as required
